March 10, 2020 Presidential Primary Election
The next election will be a Presidential Primary. This is a closed primary election that requires voters to select a ballot type on their application to vote. For more information on what a closed primary election is, please click here.
To request an absentee ballot, please complete the application here and return to the City Clerk's office.
IMPORTANT: If you do not select a BALLOT TYPE ON YOUR MARCH 10, 2020 BALLOT APPLICATION, a ballot will not be issued to you. This selection applies to absentee ballot applications as well as applications to vote completed at the voting precinct on election day. Notice is hereby given that a Presidential Primary Election will be held in the City of Oak Park, County of Oakland on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
At the following locations:

Precinct #4 Pepper School, 24301 Church
Precinct #5 & #6 Oak Park Community Center, 14300 Oak Park Blvd
Precinct #7 & #8 Oak Park High School, 13701 Oak Park Blvd
Precinct #9 & #10 Einstein School, 14001 Northend
Precinct #11 Oak Park Alternate Ed Center (Lessenger), 12901 Albany
Precinct #12 & #13 Oak Park Preparatory Academy, 23261 Scotia

Full text of the ballot proposal may be obtained at the City of Oak Park office located at 14000 Oak Park Blvd, Oak Park, MI 48237. Sample ballots can also be found at www.mi.gov/vote.
Absentee ballots are available for all elections; registered voters may contact the local clerk to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot.
To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contact the city clerk in advance of the election. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.
