What Does a Director of Human Resources & Operations Do?

The Director of Human Resources & Operations role oversees the employment process, including recruitment, training and development of current employees.  This department participates in negotiations, and administers policies and procedures. The Human Resources Department is also responsible for risk management and administration of the Workers' Compensation program. In addition, the department also ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.
