Alarm Permits & Appeals (Residents Only)
Any operable Emergency Alarm System located on a premises within the City of Oak Park must be registered by the occupant / property owner with the Department of Public Safety Records Bureau. This includes a one-time $20.00 registration fee. Each location is permitted 3 false alarms within a calendar year. Any false alarm occurrences that exceed three are subject to a $50.00 fee. False alarm warnings can be appealed within 21 days of the notice.
