The City of Oak Park supports the private efforts of various block clubs within the City. Each group forms their own rules of association, leadership roles, meeting schedules and activities.  Block club and neighborhood association meetings can be a source of community networking and neighborly discussions and a place to share safety tips and monthly topics of interest. Many block clubs hold or attend annual events such as neighborhood picnics, Fourth of July parade marches, Summered booths, and more.
