SNOW EMERGENCY UPDATE
From the desk of City Manager Erik Tungate

February 10, 2018 - Our Department of Public Works crews have been working 24/7 to make sure our roads are clear and safe. I commend them for their relentless service to our residents and business owners. And, a special thanks to our residents for their snow emergency compliance.  This is what makes Oak Park the best!

Please be patient while we continue the clean-up efforts. The National Weather Service is reporting that we may receive another one to two inches of snow accumulation by evening. They are also predicting that another system will move through the region on Sunday which may deliver an additional one to three inches of snow by Sunday evening. We are monitoring conditions and will keep you updated on any new developments.

In the meantime, we appreciate your voluntary compliance after today's snow emergency ends at noon to keep vehicles off the roadways so our crews are safe and our streets are efficiently plowed. Please be safe in your travels and enjoy the beauty of the winter season.
