Register to Vote

You can now register to vote or update your voter registration ONLINE with the Michigan Secretary of State.


Absentee Voting

To request an absentee ballot, please submit the APPLICATION ONLINE, or print the application and return to the City Clerk's office.

The City maintains a listing of permanent absent voters. To have your name added to this listing so you will be mailed an absentee ballot application for every election held in Oak Park, please follow this link:

                      The City of Oak Park will have an election for two local offices in 2023, which are as follows:

 Anyone interested in running for office, must:

 *have a one-year residence status by the filing deadline
*be a registered voter in the City of Oak Park
*file the required amount of petition signatures
