Collective Bargaining Agreements:
The Human Resources & Operations Department is also responsible for the negotiation of Collective Bargaining Agreements. The City of Oak Park has four Unions:
- Technical, Professional, and Officeworkers Association of Michigan (TPOAM)
- Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM) for Patrol & Detectives
- Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM) for Dispatchers
- Police Officers Labor Council (POLC) for Command Officers
Each of these Unions has a separate Collective Bargaining Agreement, which outlines the wages and benefits of each group. Please see each Agreement below
