Weather Alert - The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Wednesday, March 8 between 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for a wide reaching area including Oak Park. Winds are expected to strengthen during the late morning hours with a long duration of sustained winds of 30 to 35 mph during the afternoon. Wind gusts could potentially reach 50 mph. or greater. Power outages, downed limbs and trees, blown objects and difficult driving conditions are possible. Property damage is possible when sustained winds of 40 to 58 mph exists.
