Lane Closures on Coolidge and Nine Mile

>

Those traveling in and around Oak Park may experience lane closures throughout the month of September. As part of the George W. Kuhn Drain – Phase III Rehabilitation Project, a project commissioned by the Oakland County Water Resource Commission, work crews will repair existing sewer pipes using the cured-in-place, pipe method (a jointless, seamless pipe within a pipe). This will cause lane closures on Coolidge and Nine Mile Roads resulting in restricted access to and from several side streets.

A lane of traffic will remain closed on southbound Coolidge Highway between Dartmouth Street and Oak Park Boulevard until Monday, September 18 causing restricted access to and from Coolidge Highway west of Coolidge for Allan Avenue.

In addition, a lane of traffic will be closed on westbound Nine Mile Road between Gardner Street and Radclift Street until Wednesday, September 20 causing restricted access to and from Nine Mile Road from the following streets north of Nine Mile Road: Gardner Street, Kenosha Street, Church Street, Sussex Street, Marlow Street, Wildwood Street, and Radclift Street.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
